Completed in 2020, the DCS Design architecture provides a striking contemporary building set in an incredible rural landscape.

On arrival, the full-length glass window offers 180 degree vistas, as the name suggests – to views of Mt Buller and kangaroos in abundance.

Inspired as a luxury ‘ski chalet’, BullerRoo caters for up to 5 guests in 2 bedrooms. There is a beautiful central bathroom designed for comfort and indulgence, a fully equipped state of the art kitchen, open plan dining and lounge area with oversized fireplace – and the homes crowning glory? The rooftop terrace opening up to the sky, with an outdoor dining space and BBQ to make full use of the solitude and nature.

The hosts and owners, Vickie and Ed, have combined earthy materials to shape the space, with timber floors and ceilings joining the rustic stone feature wall with a French cast-iron chiminea that roars on those wild winter nights. A carefully selected range of designer furnishings and appliances combine beautifully with the hand-crafted ‘cattle yard’ dining table, and an eclectic mix of thoughtfully curated artefacts.

BullerRoo is located next door, but separate to the original family home with private car parking and entrance ensuring a completely independent feel.
