Completed in 2020, the DCS Design architecture provides a striking contemporary building set in an incredible rural landscape. On arrival, the full-length glass windows offer 180 degree vistas, as the name suggests – views of Mt Buller and kangaroos in abundance.

 

The hosts and owners, Vickie and Ed, have combined earthy materials to shape the space, with timber floors and ceilings joining the rustic stone feature wall with a French cast-iron chiminea that roars on those wild winter nights. A carefully selected range of designer furnishings and appliances combine beautifully with the hand-crafted ‘cattle yard’ dining table, and an eclectic mix of thoughtfully curated artifacts.

 

Located adjacent to the original family home with separate car parking for four cars in your own private carport and private entrance ensuring a completely independent feel.
